"One woman is about to do the unthinkable."

Natalie has a busy life; she has two young children, works in a nursing home and has a husband, Ross, who loves her dearly. On the morning of Ross' 39th birthday, Ross and Natalie spend some time together. But then 7-year-old Ruby bursts into the room with the present for her father. A few days later, Natalie wakes up in the hospital, beginning a year of trouble and recovery. She's not allowed to do many things, and unfortunately for her, she's also not allowed to have sex.
