Murder in the Blue Room plot

"IT'S MUR-DER TO MUSIC..!"

Attorney Frank Baldrich decides to reopen his wife Linda's seaside home. This house has supposedly been cursed since the death of her first husband Sam Kirkland. Frank and Linda then throw a party in this house and Linda's daughter Nan invites mystery writer Steve Randall. Nan tells Steve that her father died twenty years ago, most likely by suicide in the 'blue room' that has been locked up ever since. After the party, Nan's ex-boyfriend Larry Dearden and Steve ask to see that blue room. Linda tells them that she still believes her late husband was murdered by a blackmailer. Larry decides to sleep in the blue room that night. He wants to prove that there is no curse, but the next morning Larry is missing.
