"Abbie Polin never told anyone the terrible secret about his father... he's alive and well and living in Hollywood."
During an operation, cardiac surgeon Dr Abbie Polin suffers a minor heart attack, leaving him feeling emotional and vulnerable for the first time in a long time. The only heart Abbie can't seem to heal is his own. He therefore decides to go to the person who broke it in the first place: his father Abe. Dr. Lisa McConnell, Abbie's girlfriend, also realizes that her future with Abbie is in jeopardy if he doesn't come to terms with his father.
