Lu Ding Ji plot
Bo's mother, a prostitute, decides to work for the local Triad. Bo is sent by them to steal the "42 Chapter Classic", a famous martial arts book, from the emperor's palace. Coincidentally, however, Bo is engaged by the emperor and enters into a relationship with his daughter, which makes his mission difficult.
