Lovin' the Ladies plot
Hard worker Peter Darby submits to a strange experiment. Scientist Jimmy Farnsworth claims that a man and a woman can fall in love through predetermined circumstances. Farnsworth introduces Darby as a wealthy gentleman and arranges a marriage with wealthy Betty Duncan. However, nature turns out to be stronger than science: Darby seems to have fallen in love with Farnsworth's betrothed.
