"Randy Bodek has no idea how to treat a woman . . . but he's working on it."
High school student Randy Bodek (Patrick Dempsey) lands a summer job as a pizza delivery boy in Beverly Hills. He takes his job very seriously and is willing to give some extra service to his clients, mostly beautiful and rich, but bored and neglected by their husbands. Quite an entertaining and easy to watch film, the ending was very abrupt but it didn't bother me.
Loverboy may be quickly forgotten compared to all those 80s comedies, but it was certainly not annoying to watch.

Nice film about a pizza boy who does a little more than just deliver pizzas. A thin story, but with entertaining situations and characters (especially as the film progresses). A pleasant 80s atmosphere and nice and silly. Partly because for me it falls into the 'youth sentiment' category, 3.0 stars.

Great farce. Nice story built around a series of misunderstandings. Good pace and nice soundtrack (including 3 songs by Brian Wilson). A good leading role for Patrick Dempsey and the rest of the cast also does a good job. Simple entertainment and that's all it should be. The finale in the restaurant is fantastic.
