"Kids bring everyone closer, right?"

After ten years, Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) seems to have finally been accepted by his quirky and suspicious father-in-law Jack Byrnes (Robert de Niro). But when the young father of two little Fockers starts doing odd jobs at a pharmaceutical company, Jack gets suspicious again. Once again, he must prove that he is fit to be Pam's (Teri Polo) husband. Will he pass Jack's ultimate test so that Greg can succeed him as head of the family, or will the trust between the two men be broken forever?

It's a good thing no more parts were made because this third part is actually completely redundant. Fortunately, the cast is still completely intact, all the famous big names are back, but the story is total nonsense. Nothing really relevant happens and everything feels superfluous. It is a repetition of moves and then also with few really nice jokes and situations, something that the previous two films did contain.

Still, it looks pretty nice and the more than one and a half hours are over in no time. Yet this is not worth enough, the film is too mediocre for that.

2.5*

Not good and not bad. A repeat of the previous movies with some scenes that pass and some that don't. You can see a few moments coming from miles away and the role of DeNiro may also be given a different interpretation after so many years in which Stiller (decent role of him by the way) has made it reasonable.

Wilson was the funniest part, that whole role is outside reality and he doesn't even fit in the film, but it's sniggering about it. 2.5*.

The moderately witty Meet the Parents already had an inferior sequel in 2004, so it comes as a pleasant surprise that six years later the idea came up to milk the already exhausted characters even further. For those who forgot: Greg Focker [Ben Stiller] is a nurse with two eccentric parents [Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Streisand] and the demanding father-in-law Jack [Robert De Niro]. Jack decides to only share the fact that he survived a heart attack with Greg. His message: based on the family tree, he determines that Greg is the best candidate to take on Jack's role as... (wait for effect)... The Godfocker! Greg still has to meet three conditions: a safe home for his family, a top education for his children and financial security. And so Greg seizes a family party to prove himself (again) to his father-in-law. If you can laugh at the title this might be for you. Full of infantile puns, poo, pee and cock humor and references to De Niro's film career. A whole slew of big names show up in bit parts, but no one is going to put this in bold on their resume.
