Warsaw, Christmas Eve. While his son is alone at home, radio DJ and widower Mikolaj has to work. He gets a call from Doris complaining about the lack of love in her life. Wojciech is on his way home where his wife has prepared dinner for both of them down to the last detail. He brings an unexpected guest. Szczepan is married to a woman who cheats on him and has a daughter who hates him. Betty is heavily pregnant and single and accidentally comes into contact with Wladi's parents who are so eager to see their son settled. The irresponsible Melchior is after a boy who has stolen his cell phone.
