The Tuches, a modest French family, see their lives change radically after winning 100,000,000 euros in the lotto. With his parents' money, the youngest offspring, Donald, leaves for Los Angeles for a month to improve his English. There, on the university campus, he meets Jennifer, daughter of a famous American financier. Donald is impressed by her family, which is almost the polar opposite of his. He becomes convinced that the two families should never meet and lies about his origins. But when the Tuches land in Los Angeles, he's in for a surprise...
