Les Petites du Quai aux Fleurs plot
Mr Grimaud is a bookseller and lives on the Quay of the Flowers. He is abandoned by his wife and is left with four daughters that he has to raise alone. The youngest, Rosine, is in love with her older sister Edith's betrothed. She calls him and threatens to commit suicide. The next day she is missing. Bertrand, a young doctor who happened to intercept the phone call, does everything he can to find the young teenager.
