Le Plus Heureux des Hommes plot

Armand Dupuis-Martin, a great industrialist, dreams of fleeing business and devoting himself entirely to painting. One day, he witnesses a shot by a revolver fired by a librarian at her lover. Armand discovers that the latter is the lover of his own wife Florence. In a fit of rage, he injures him and he is arrested at the same time that Sophie turns herself in to the police.
