Le Pain des Jules plot

Toussaint has stopped his burglaries and lives with his wife Assunta in Toulon where she runs a bar, "L'Île de Beauté". One day, in a nearby inn, he meets the singer Gina and falls in love with her. He leaves his wife for her, but because he has to give money to his ex, he is forced to resume his thefts.
