La Bella Vita plot
"Mirella Brucioni dreamt of her Prince Charming. His husband Bruno dreamt of "living it up". The great Gerry Fumo no longer dreamt of anything..."
Bruno and Mirella married in 1989 and lead a happy life in the small village of Piombino. But when Bruno is fired and Mirella begins an affair with a TV presenter, their marriage ends. When they try again later, it turns out that their love story has finally come to an end. Their lives drift further apart, but nevertheless the two remain in touch through a tender correspondence.
