"A comedy about one bride, two grooms, and a wedding party you won't believe."
A dying mother makes her son Jack (Nicolas Cage) promise never to marry. This promise creates a psychological block that prevents Jack from committing to his fiancée Betsy (Sarah Jessica Parker). At some point they decide to make the decision and go to Las Vegas to get married. There, Jack does his best to delay the wedding in every possible way. He gets involved in a game of poker where he loses $65,000 to professional gambler Tommy Korman (James Caan). This one is willing to forgive the debt if he can spend one weekend with his fiancé.

Entertaining film, especially thanks to Nicolas Cage and James Caan, who are both doing very well. Cage is really in his element in these kinds of roles and I still think he's a nice actor. The story has little to say and the ending is quite predictable, but certainly worth a sufficient due to the nice humor and the two male actors. Too bad about that Elvis music and all those fake Elvises, but you can't have everything of course.

This was another fun video. The premise reminded me of Indecent Proposal, but in this film it's more lighthearted.
The cast did a good job. The film consisted of all Elvis songs, but actually it did not disturb and they strengthened the story.
The film is fairly predictable, but nevertheless it did not disturb.
I actually thought it was a good movie worth watching. Recommended.

Actually the predecessor of "Indecent Proposal" but with horse Sarah Jessica Parker as female lead. The story was quite nice and there are some nice parts here and there, including the ending with the high number of Elvis content. The cast didn't do a bad job either, especially Nicolas Cage, James Caan and the aforementioned horse Sarah Jessica Parker (what a dragon of a woman that is). It is certainly not high quality and the film also contains many bland and boring parts. But for once this film is definitely doable.
