Grießnockerlaffäre plot
The morning after a wild police wedding, the still slightly drunk village policeman Franz Eberhofer is rudely awakened by heavily armed colleagues from the special intervention service who arrest him. He is suspected of murdering his boss, Commissioner Barschl, who was found dead with Franz his pocket knife in his back. Franz and Barschl were known throughout the village as rivals and archenemies. Fortunately, Franz's father gives him an alibi so that he is quickly released. Together with his friend and colleague Rudi Birkenberger, Franz immediately sets out to find the real killer.
