Etta Milford is a loving wife, adorable mother and…armed robber. Etta's husband keeps wasting their money on temporary inventions. When she decides to secretly take control of spending money, things quickly take a turn for the worse. With their savings gone, her husband suspicious and their children unhinged, Etta devises a scheme to get their money back and save her family. There are just a few things she needs to sort out first, including blackmailing the sheriff and robbing the grocery store.
