Just a fun, lighthearted western, with an equally fun story and many fun (also hilarious) unexpected twists. "Fun" is actually the keyword for this old-fashioned film.

Just when you think how the story will unfold, you are caught off guard again by an unexpected, fun twist—and that basically happens from beginning to end. As a result, the entire plot of the film ultimately becomes unpredictable, ensuring it certainly hasn't turned into a cliché movie. There is also more than enough to laugh at. Particularly the part where no one wants to believe that Graham Dorsey is the real Graham Dorsey, and the scene where Graham Dorsey shows Amanda (by showing her his penis), who also doesn't believe he is the real Graham Dorsey, that he is the real Graham Dorsey. The story is otherwise well-structured, and the same goes for its fun, lighthearted execution. Both lead actors, Charles Bronson (in the role of bank robber Graham Dorsey) and Jill Ireland (in the role of the wealthy widow Amanda), around whom the story revolves, also do a nice and good job. Incidentally, both were married in real life.

All in all, just a fun and entertaining comedic western that is easy to watch and that I saw by chance on the TV channel "AMC".

This film by Frank D. Gilroy, primarily known for his writing work for television productions, is difficult to classify. The film begins as a Western variation of a screwball comedy and gradually becomes a tragicomedy with bitter undertones, without, however, losing its lighthearted approach.

The film has a comedic slant. It is witty and lively, but also cynical. Charles Bronson plays the bandit Graham Dorsey, who has a heavenly experience for three hours. The peculiar ways of fate that make these heavenly hours possible for him turn mercilessly against him afterwards. Even then, the film remains witty and playful, yet undeniably becomes coated with a cynical layer.

A nice role for Bronson. Different from how I remember him. The type of the ice-cold, stoic avenger that I picture Bronson in probably stems more from his 80s films. In From Noon Till Three, Bronson possesses a mischievous charm with a disarming smile that keeps him far removed from the rugged and cold-blooded action hero of many other films. Bronson plays a delightful rogue and proves he can do more than walk around with a vacant expression and fists of steel. It takes some getting used to seeing him cuddling with his wife Jill Ireland instead of accompanying him on a bloody revenge mission, but it is certainly enjoyable.

The film was a flop. I admit that the film does not deserve an extraordinarily memorable place in film history, but it is certainly pleasant entertainment that cheers you up and brings a smile to your face.

Meh, I'm not that enthusiastic about it, so it will remain a one-time viewing. When the wives of famous actors appear alongside their husbands, it comes across as forced to me. A tailor-made script. Clint Eastwood also starred in quite a few films with his wife, but the real reason is that they had more time to be together. Besides, they then had snapshots to hang on the wall regarding their shared professional careers. Unlike Sondra Locke, I think Jill Ireland acts better. I think Bronson is better in action movies, though. He doesn't pull it off as well with comedies.

This is a very unusual western that you can barely even call a western. If I were to describe it, I would rather go for a "romantic tragicomedy." The second part was more surprising and enjoyable than I expected, with the romance that becomes a legend, which caused me to adjust my rating upwards after some reflection. But I didn't find the three historical hours combined to come across as particularly special in the film... Quite bland, actually.
