Pete and Sophie are somewhere on the edge of the desert. There, Pete gathers the courage to propose to Sophie. But there is a hitch. These neighbors have never dated before, and this whirlwind trip from LA to Phoenix is the closest thing to a date for them. However, the proposal is very much against the wishes of Pete's sister, Jess. She has joined them for the second part of the journey.
