Good film about a boy and a girl who enter into a fake relationship to keep their sexual orientation hidden at school. A fast-paced film with well-portrayed characters (and not just because of the excellent casting). It starts off a bit like a comedy, but the drama quickly takes over.

A queer movie that colors quite far outside the lines. It did take me out of my comfort zone regarding feelings and relationships. I found it all very atypical in terms of emotions, but perhaps that is just part of today's youth. In any case, they aren't romantic anymore. What I did like about it is that friendship still carries a higher intrinsic value than sexuality, for example. That is why I found that final scene, in which Amber gave all her hard-earned money to Eddie, so beautiful and full of meaning. But the film is also quite harsh at times and reflects a certain selfishness where it is essentially every man for himself when it comes to self-acceptance or coming out. I would call it contemporary, but it didn't really move me.
