"Don't you break my heart?"
Molly is a young woman of good descent who runs a PR company that is financed with the money of her wealthy boyfriend Akeem (to whom Molly's sister was engaged). Molly's best friend and personal assistant is Qiqi, a former lower-middle-class classmate who is about to marry Ming, a low-ranking government official. Larry, Molly's business manager and friend of Akeem, runs Molly's company. Feng wants to be an actress, and works for Molly until she hopes to make her big break. Birdy is an avant-garde playwright trying to write his first commercial play. Everything changes when Molly evaluates her life after firing Feng over a disagreement.
