Danny Is My Boyfriend plot
The tense Lucy has moved back in with her mother after a breakup so severe she ended up in a psychiatric ward. So when her new boyfriend Danny asks her to look after his dog while he’s away for his nephew’s non-denominational circumcision party, it feels like proof that she’s back on the right track. Until a stranger recognizes the three-legged dog… as *her* boyfriend’s dog. Forced into an unwilling alliance by the discovery that they are both in a relationship with Danny, Lucy and the stranger (Mechi, a socially awkward babysitter) hatch a plot for revenge.
