Danny (Rhys Ifans) is a solid construction worker who is really looking forward to his annual holiday with his girlfriend. The ambitious Trudy (Justine Clarke), who has seen the camping holidays by now, can make a mega deal on her work and decides to cancel the holiday. Danny, who isn't feeling very well anyway, is hopelessly disappointed. To cheer Danny up a bit, Trudy organizes a barbecue with some friends. The perfect opportunity for Danny to try out his brilliant idea. He devises a stunt to escape his mediocre existence. He flies away in a garden chair to which helium-filled balloons are attached...
