Cut Sleeve Boys plot

Mel and Ash are two British-Chinese gays who studied together. After attending the funeral of their mutual friend Gavin, their friendship blossoms again. Both Mel (a tough vain who only believes in one-night stands or at most an open relationship) and Ash (a sweet-natured boy who considers becoming transsexual) struggle with aging and the search for love. Mel rejects Todd, a boy from the county, because he feels restricted in his freedom, and Ash comes in contact with Ross, the ex-lover of his transsexual girlfriend Diana.
