"This holiday season, fall for the unexpected."
A spoiled hotel heiress named Sierra just got engaged. However, she takes the brunt when she loses her memory after a skiing incident. As a result, she ends up with a handsome hotel owner and his daughter. The hotel owner decides to take care of her, and from him Sierra learns the value of kindness and love.

Nice, finally another movie with Lindsay Lohan! Unfortunately, the film is not really of a high standard, if she hadn't starred in it, it would have gotten a lower rating. Because of her I was able to watch this movie.
It is a typical Christmas film and that makes the film very nice to watch in terms of atmosphere. The story doesn't amount to much and comes across as very forced. The coincidences and the way everything goes. It's very cliche, but that's part of this kind of movie. Lohan's character is a bit unrealistic. At first we see her as a richly spoiled brat, but after the accident she is suddenly completely different. Of course I don't know what it's like in real life, but I think you only lose your memory and not your behavior and interests. The 'boyfriend' Tad was really horrible. Irritating character, overly acted (which was part of such a role), but not pleasant to look at. Jake gave me a grown Kevin McCalister vibe from Home Alone in appearance.
All in all a nice average movie to watch around Christmas, but not more often. Quickly fades into oblivion. Sadly a B movie.

Terrible. I'm not much of a fan of Christmas movies, but this one is very sweet. The main character is a spoiled brat, her boyfriend is too stupid for words, as is the "humor" in this movie, and the male lead is so perfect it's scary. And then that kid of his who walks around with such a creepy smile all the time. And of course all Christmas clichés pass by with life lessons etcetera. Totally not for me. 0.5*.

Watched together with a date, only she doesn't live in the Netherlands, so let's look for each other and start at the same time. Sometimes you have to do something together. This movie was her choice, by the way. Bad film otherwise, but still with a certain charm - I've definitely seen them much worse. It's also nice that the fiancé isn't a total jerk but just someone who is a bit too self-absorbed and that Lohan doesn't choose him without bad feelings is fine, that's refreshing even. Moderately acted all, yes. And Lohan really looks 10 years older than she is, didn't recognize her at first. Film does little wrong, but yes, that is not necessarily a quality. 2.0*.
