Blackadder Back & Forth plot

"The final episode in the saga of the Blackadder family, who have forever been at the very center of British history and society."

At a party, Blackadder and Baldrick test their new time machine and fly through history, encountering famous characters. They meet Robin Hood, William Shakespeare and Napoleon, among others. Their presence changes the course of a number of historical events.

When I completely watched the Blackadder series a few years ago, this Back & Forth special was also discussed. Personally, I found this one slightly less than the last two seasons of the series as well as Blackadder's Christmas Carol. It is not bad and there are certainly nice scenes in it (the striking cameo of Colin Firth in the role of William Shakespeare is one of them), but as a real film it has little to do. It's just a fun, standalone episode.
