Angel City plot

Frank Goya is a cynical and eccentric private detective. Pierce del Rue, the chairman of an international consortium, appoints him to investigate the murder of his wife, an ex-model and aspiring actress. He traverses Hollywood in search of the culprit, but soon discovers that he is being used as a scapegoat.
