The angel Petronel still works at the gates of heaven, but is convinced that he deserves a better position. His eternal tormentor and seducer Uriah, a devil, tries to tempt him to pick the apple of knowledge. However, the valuable piece of fruit falls to the ground and Petronel and Uriah must go down to see it again.
