"A traumatic comedy"

Alex (Griffin Dunne) has been married to Erica Boyer (Brooke Adams) for years and feels stuck in both his marriage and his job. When Alex temporarily needs a nurse named Lisa Willoughby (Karen Young) due to an accident and Alex falls in love with the latter, the dolls are dancing.
