Katharina is over the moon. Her son Hans has announced that he is coming home to get married. Though Katharina doesn't know her aspiring daughter-in-law, it doesn't stop her from breaking the news in their small Bavarian village. She also rubs the message under the nose of her ex-husband Christian. He left her for the younger Vera years ago. What Katkarina doesn't know, however, is that her son is gay and his bride Nicki turns out to be a man. That is not only too much for Katharina; the whole village is upside down...
