A French Mistress plot
The Melbury Primary School boarding school boys are pleasantly surprised to say the least when the new French teacher turns out to be a beautiful young lady. Suddenly all the boys are interested in French and French classes are again crowded, if only to catch a glimpse of teacher Madeline (Agnès Laurent). However, when it turns out that Madeline's mother is an old lover of the director, he fires her because he is afraid that old history will resurface.

The film debut of Denise Coffey.
A light-hearted comedy with a thin storyline. The script is rather flat, but the presence of Agnès Laurent does not go unnoticed. Reasonably entertaining, but not the best of its kind.
