"It's 11:59 on New Years Eve... do you know where your date is?"
New Year's Eve 1981. We follow a number of people in their twenties and young people who are on their way to a party. All of them are looking for love and adventure and have to deal with their daily problems. One has just ended his relationship and a friend tries to cheer him up. Two girlfriends get lost on the way and end up in a punk rock bar. And somewhere on the other side of town, a naive girl goes out on a blind date who is desperately trying to avoid his ex-girlfriends. The hostess of the party is afraid that no one will show up. And then a good-natured taxi driver shows up regularly.
