"A mother's fight against a nation."
Debika Chatterjee is an Indian immigrant living in Norway with her husband Aniruddha and her two children Subh and Shuchi. Two officials from the Velfred organization visit them daily for a parenting evaluation and one day suddenly take both their children away under the guise of being unfit parents. Debika then fights fiercely with the Norwegian authorities to regain custody of her children.
