What a beautiful story. One way or another, we often manage to make beautiful films with stories, fairy tales and legends set in Paris. This one is really well suited for a live-action remake, and I can see that it is indeed coming, although we'll have to wait until 2022... Hopefully it will be as good as Beauty and the Beast (2017), if they do it right, this is a very powerful film.
In terms of negatives, the animation of the characters doesn't really shine, but the scenery of Notre Dame makes up for a lot. The singing in this quasi-musical could also be much better, especially the voices were not all fine singing voices. This animation has a lot in common with the beautiful Les Misérables (2012), if Disney can make something like this, and they can, then I can't wait until it's 2022.

This was one of my first cinema films ever and I saw it countless times in Dutch version. Now I want to see all the Disney classics in the original and today it was my turn..
I like the darker Disney movies and this is one of them.
Only, and I say this quickly, I really liked the Dutch version much better in terms of vocals.. I don't know if it's because of my nostalgia.. But only the song hellfire already.
But the animation is really beautiful! Especially now that I've been to Paris itself a few times
