"What you imagine has long been imagining you"

Mexico, 19th century. Frankelda is a gifted writer whose dark stories are ignored and dismissed. Forced to suppress her voice, she refuses to give up, despite the efforts of many to silence her. But when she is pushed into her subconscious, the monsters she has created come to life.
