Sleeping Beauty plot

Sleeping Beauty was born as Felicity. She is the long-awaited daughter of the king and his consort of a prosperous empire. The royal couple throws a big party for the people. The invitees also include the fairies, each of whom impart a virtue to the newborn. Suddenly, the evil fairy Odelia appears, who has not been invited to the party. She puts a curse on the child: a week after her sixteenth birthday she will prick herself with a spinning wheel and die.
