An old conflict between the "Normies" and the monsters is rekindled and it looks like things are about to get exciting. For years, Monster High students have been warned that Halloween is a night when they should stay indoors and avoid conflict at all times. However, Frankie and her friends discover that girls and "Normies" used to have a lot of fun celebrating this holiday together. The girls decide to turn back time and use the night to celebrate their individuality and to show that it's good to believe in yourself: Be yourself. Be unique. Be a Monster.
