Rune Ballot is kidnapped by the nefarious gambler Shell Septinous and left dead after an explosion. Now Rune is a cyborg on a vengeance, with the power of biotechnology on her side. Rune tries to uncover the truth behind this technology. She finds out that not only her life has been saved, but also that of someone else. It doesn't take long before she is forced to work with this mysterious person.
