Mumble (Elijah Wood), the master of tap dance, has a problem. His little son Erik is afraid to dance. He runs away from home and meets the mighty Sven, a penguin who can fly! Mumble has little hope of offering any competition to this mighty role model, but things get even worse when the world is shaken up by unforeseen influential forces. Hearing the tales of his father's bravery, Erik brings the penguin nation and a host of other beautiful creatures together to set things right.

Disappointing sequel to the cheerful Happy Feet is just a series of musical interludes with dancing and singing penguins looking for a story that isn't there. The addition of Brad Pitt and Matt Damon as brothers Bill and Will the Krill, in an almost completely separate storyline, indicates that the creators themselves knew that the base story was too thin for a full-length film. And so this largely gets bogged down in a repetition of the formula with again a maniacal, too present Robin Williams and a number of new characters that unfortunately add little. But if that wouldn't be complete without dancing, singing and/or rapping penguins, then you've come to the right place.
