"The last 67 days of the great artist's life."
Film about Vincent van Gogh's last months in Auvers-sur-Oise in northern France. From his arrival at Dr. Gachet in 1890 until his death a few months later. The months he spends mainly in Auvers, as a guest and patient of the doctor-collector Gachet. Once in a while he makes a trip to Paris, mainly to visit his brother Theo, on whom he is financially dependent, but also to plunge into the nightlife.
