"Beyond the limits. Where myth meets legend..."

Ash and his friends are on a tour of New York City when the city is suddenly attacked by the Genesect army. Ash threatens to be injured in the attack but is protected by the sudden intervention of an old friend, Mewtwo. The Legendary Pokémon decides to protect the city from the Genesect army and asks Ash, Iris, and Cilan to help him.
