"A hero must choose: the power of ideals... or the courage of truth?"

During their travels through the region of Unova, Ash and his friends Iris and Cilan arrive in Eindoak Town. There, they decide to participate in the annual tournament, and Ash manages to win, albeit with unexpected help from the legendary Pokémon Victini. It soon becomes clear that Victini needs the help of Ash and his friends to save Eindoak Town from destruction.
