While on a train journey, Ash and his friends spot a wounded Pokémon, without recognizing it. They decide to rescue him, but the train is attacked by the Legendary Kyurem. Ash and the rest manage to get the unknown Pokémon to safety, and hear his story. The Mythical Pokémon Keldeo has a mission: to rescue its friends – Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion, the Swords of Justice – from Kyurem's icy clutches. But Kyurem has other plans, and when he turns into Black Kyurem or White Kyurem to gain more power, things look bleak.
