Indeed a nice sequel to part 1. The minions remain funny with their underpants humor! A nice part also from Kristen Wiig, who I always found very funny in SNL. I still find it a bit of a shame that Gru has sacrificed his villain role for a good father role, that takes away a number of possibilities. Steve Carell gives Gru a nice but sometimes hard to understand voice, I'm a fan of his! And now on to part 3.

A sequel to part 1 with more of the same. Or more of the minions especially, of which the makers realize that they appeal to children. Part 2 has mainly become a busy film, the story has to give way to gags and busy scenes. Those who like part 1 will also enjoy this, even if it is never special.

Saw part 1 on an airplane once and then had to laugh rudely out loud a few times, which got me angry looks from my neighbor. I can still laugh about part 2, but at least half of the jokes don't work at all: too weak or done too often. In addition, unfortunately a stupid love story, stop with that. But those minions are funny guys, that has to be said.
