Buñuel en el Laberinto de las Tortugas plot
Paris in 1930. After the L'Age d'Or scandal, Luis Buñuel is offered the opportunity to make a documentary in the very poor region of Las Hurdes in Spain. His friend Ramón Acín buys a lottery ticket and promises the filmmaker that he will support him financially in his upcoming film in case of winning the lottery. It eventually becomes a dramatic experience for Buñuel, because the poverty he encounters touches him deeply.
