Three Bullets for a Long Gun plot

In Mexico, the gringo Major saves the Mexican bandit Lucky from the death penalty. Major needs Lucky to find a hidden treasure that is said to lie in an abandoned gold mine. Both hold one half of a map that shows the exact location of the treasure. During their quest, they face mutual mistrust and attacks from outside; after all, the legend of the treasure is known to many.
