The Grim Game plot
Young journalist Harvey Hanford is in love with Mary Wentworth. His rich eccentric uncle Dudley Cameron is not happy about this and works against him where he can. Harvey becomes involved in a plan to stage a fake murder of his uncle. However, when Cameron is actually murdered, Harvey is pointed to as the culprit. To prove his innocence, he now has to go after the real perpetrators.
