La Frontera plot

Ramiro Orellana is a math teacher imprisoned in ''La Frontera'', the Mapuche area of southern Chile. There he meets Maite, a woman from Spain who lived through the Civil War in her homeland. Soon a stormy love affair develops between them. By meeting other people, Ramiro gets to know an unknown world. His love for Maite will be the key to painfully finding his way back in life.
