Nice gritty, gritty action movie. Adrenaline-packed with Ice T and Ice Cube fighting each other and a handful of tough thugs killing Paxton and Sadler. Some nice headlines here. I could have done without the ghetto lesson from King James, on the other hand, the introduction of Raymond is worth gold. Slick how he walks into the movie.

There is no Dutch word for that. The wrought-up bum is also such a great figure. Ry Cooder's soundtrack and the hip-hop of the time give it an extra boost, while the story gives everyone a chance at the gold and makes the bullets fly. Anyone who likes Hill's later, or rather, earlier action films, will also like this one.

Nice Walter Hill! Saw this on VHS before and with this review, this film holds up well. Trespass was never released in our theaters in Belgium. It became a coveted cult film via the video library circuit.

Two pompiers go in an old abandoned factory in search of a hidden church treasure but coincidence brings a gang of "gangstaz" to the same spot. The entire film builds on an escalation through a number of twists and the entire film also takes place in the same location. But don't complain because this is how it should be done.

Sadler and the ever-good Paxton (RIP) play the two treasure hunters. Don is the initiator who takes the lead in everything, Vince is the somewhat naive follower. Among the blacks you have Ice-T as the captain, but Raymond also steals some of the show as his flamboyant arms supplier. And then you also have a good dose of violence because with Walter Hill that should not be missing .

What is especially a plus about the film is that several conflicts arise between the two groups themselves , which kept me glued to the screen rubbing hands. Undervalued.

This is very bad for such a talented actors and director. Not a single moment of excitement. Poorly acted and poorly filmed except for a few action scenes. I can understand why this thing never made it to the screens. One to quickly forget. Narrowly 2 stars
