The Three Musketeers plot
"All for one and one for all!"
Young D'Artagnan comes to Paris to become a Musketeer. He soon learns that Cardinal Richelieu, the king's advisor, has outlawed the Musketeers. After D'Artagnan proves his worth in wielding the sword in separate duels with the Musketeers Aramis, Athos and Porthos, he is invited by them to intercept the secret document instructing him to depose the king. Along the way, D'Artagnan is separated from his friends and then kidnapped by Milady de Winter, who turns out to be a spy in Richelieu's service. Her mission is to deliver the secret document. In the thrilling finale, the Musketeers must go to great lengths to save the king.

Tim Curry portrays an almost iconic bad guy. Furthermore, Charlie Sheen in particular provides the necessary striking humor. His introductory scene alone in which he abuses bible study is quite comical.
Furthermore, this is a very safe film in which the good guys win everything and the baddies, sometimes with the necessary humor, have to give up.
A fun, light-hearted film adaptation that, like many Disney productions, is suitable for a broad target group.

Nice film about a young man who comes to Paris to become a musketeer. A great mix between action, adventure, humor and a touch of romance. It doesn't have much to offer, but as light entertainment it is doable. The decoration is fine, but a bit too clean. Also a cast with quite a few well-known names. A narrow 3.0 stars.
