Ito (Joe Taslim), a blackmailer, returns to his local crime family in Jakarta after a dangerous assignment abroad. He worked there for some time for notorious South Asian gangs. Just like The Raid, but with a little more change of location, a few more moments of rest and, above all, filmed in a more stylish way. The evenings are especially atmospheric with all the colorful pictures. But otherwise another movie that I have seen after an hour. Hard and often just funny and inventive how people slaughter each other bloodily, but the pace of the film remains monotonous and it often remains fistfights or something with knives. The second hour is just another repetition of moves and the quiet moments can hardly be interesting. 3.0*.

It probably doesn't get any more blunt than this within the action genre. Not bloodier either. The plot, while not that bad at all, clearly comes second, as does the acting. Depicting rock-hard action scenes as bluntly and confrontingly as possible is what the film is all about, and in that respect this Indonesian work can be called quite successful. Towards the end, just like with predecessor Headshot, things go on for too long, but until then there is a lot to enjoy. At least if you like ultra-violent and gory situations.

Excellent action movie along the lines of the 2 The Raids, except that this movie is quite
bloodier and sometimes even abrasive to the horror. Lots of delicious inventiveness at
several fight scenes (By the way, just like at the beginning of the first The Raid, there are also
fired quite a few bullets, sometimes with brute venom), also regularly
inappropriately present attributes are seized to try to outsmart the opponent
to change gear. Also with tough, sexy ladies who also know their stuff. The choreography at the
fight scenes here too. Except for a few scenes, the film barely takes a breather,
and perhaps for some, too much of a good thing would be irritating
can be. For me this was a cool movie without a moment of boredom.
